    Description
    MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) transmitters and receivers in clear mold package are high-end POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) components for in-car entertainment and information systems. The MOST multimedia fiber optic link is optimized for automotive applications and is EMI-proof. The components are designed to provide high data rates, up to 50 Mbit/s, with a low cost interface for multimedia devices. The standards compliant MOST transmitters and receivers are compatible with established manufacturing processes and includes traceability information on each individual part.

    • Clear mold compound package with integrated lens for high coupling efficiency in 1mm plastic fiber
    • Operating at 3.3V or 5.0V supply voltage
    • High speed transmitter up to 25 Mbit/s net data rate (50 MBaud)
    • 650 nm for working in a low attenuation range of PMMA Fiber
    • 95°C operating temperature over whole life time
    • TTL Data Input (Logic to Light Function)
    • Power down mode
    • Fully compliant to “MOST® Specification of Physical Layer Rev 1.1”
